A Hummingbird Day
In many ways and through the help of many of you and our conversation with Dr Block yesterday I felt a shift last night. I saw and heard the hummingbirds in the garden, literally and figuratively in seeing God's love given out and multiplied many times over. Today was easier than last time in that it was 6 ? hours instead of the 9 hours last time. Many more protections in place both because of my experience and that of my teams.
My companion today was Laurie Nelson who was an angel of God in every way. Many heart felt thanks to you, Laurie. In solidarity she even submitted to part of my protocol that requires me to wear freezing mitts and boots during the 90 minute infusion of the most toxic of the meds to help prevent neuropathy in my hands and feet. It is a lot like going out on a sub zero day with no gloves and thin shoes...burrr😱 I also received a reflexology treatment and an infrared laser treatment to help prevent neuropathy. These are just some of the protections that Dr Block does that I would not receive anywhere else. I'm very grateful.
Today I was able to reframe the medications I received and saw them as pure healing light, instead of toxins. We prayed over the most difficult of the meds, the Taxatere specifically that it would do its job of promoting cancer cell apoptosis and no more. I have also done work with another practitioner I work with, Maryann Morse a nurse practitioner, around this issue of de-cloaking the cancer so my immune system can see it and promote the apoptosis or spontaneous cancer cell die off. A phrase we learned in Florida at Hippocrates Institute was "Every cell is healthy and well"... and we added " and knows when to let go!"
Supporting and loving my body through this process is multilayered and complex. It requires a community of which you all are a part. I am receiving with great humility, a remarkable level of care and support and love. Thank you all. Words fall short.
Tomorrow I receive additional vitamin support infusions and the injection of Nuelasta which is extremely painful and other meds are taken to offset those side effects. All this is so counter to my natural bent but I am submitting to it all to help prevent a repeat of the first round. I'm already designing my next bracelet for round 2. The next several days will tell the story of if all the precautions have helped.
I'm so incredibly grateful for all the love that has been extended, we feel surrounded by love and I have a new layer of peace. Your prayers and well wishes are with me in each infusion present on the prayer flags which have become a source of conversation at the center and a focus of hope and healing for me. My dear friend Ruthmari Andersen has very lovingly and artfully transferred the prayers to my prayer flags, so thanks to her for that special gift. Gifts of meals and presence and love abound at every turn. Thanks be to God and thanks be to each and every one of you!!
You are the hands and feet and heart of God to me.
