Get Moving

All my life I have been an athlete, so moving has never been a problem for me. However, I have received many admonishments to be very intentional about moving for at least 30 minutes a day. This is anti-cancer behavior! After my accident last summer, in spite of the many hours of physical therapy I have lost a good deal of upper body strength. So...in addition to moving, I have hired a personal trainer to help me start lifting weights. Did I mention, I really hate lifting weights, so I knew I needed some outside incentives for that.😝

I don't need incentives for moving because I love biking, walking and swimming but let's face it, there are only so many hours in the day.

I have learned over the years to park in a far away from the door parking spot to increase my steps to the door.

We work on the NorthShore so taking lunch in places like the Botanic Garden I can eat, see Gil AND take a walk in a beautiful setting. Do you have tips for keeping yourself moving that you want to share? Bring 'em on!!😜

Here's to a healthy moving lifestyle for all of us!👍🏻
